    We still don’t have anyone taking lead on this. We need someone who can be self motivated to organize this effort.

        I do believe this would be extremely useful. It's often difficult to take enough notes to bring everything from a fast-moving session 'home' with you afterward. Being able to revisit a great session would be phenomenal.

        thanks, Matt. I'm already handling this... i research various software for the task, and i have asked the organizers of SoCal code camp to hook me up with sponsorship.

        I've recorded live screen capture and audio for our sessions at the Inland Empire .Net User Group. It works out very well. For future events I'd be happy to discuss what I do with those involved or even handle this myself. I just need to know who to talk to and get the hardware, whether through sponsorship or some other method for financing. It's inexpensive, but not trivial.
